Greek-Style Avocado Hummus

Serves 4-6

Ingredients

  • 1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 2 Avocados from Mexico
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 3 tablespoons tahini
  • 10 drops of hot sauce
  • 4 tablespoons avocado oil
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon mountain oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  •  
  • Garnish:
  • 1 tablespoon red onion, minced
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • 5 black olives, chopped
  • Feta cheese, crumbled
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Directions

  1. Mix all of the hummus ingredients in a food processor to a smooth texture.
  2. Transfer the hummus to a plate and garnish with tomatoes, onion, olives, feta cheese and olive oil.
