Avocado, strawberry & orange smoothie

Serves 2


  • 1 ripe avocado from Mexico
  • 350 ml hulled strawberries. (You can buy them frozen if they’re not in season.)
  • 350 ml orange juice


  1. Cut open the avocado, and remove the pit and flesh.
  2. Place the avocado, strawberries and juice in a large glass.
  3. Using a hand blender, puree the mixture until it has the consistency of a smoothie.
  4. Serve in cold glasses.
  5. CHEF'S TIP: The strawberries can been replaced with raspberries, blueberries, mango, a peach or pineapple chunks. Let us know about your favourite combination!
